The Meital 302 is a revolutionary inkjet printer setting new standards in terms of productivity, reliability and ease of use. This machines was designed to fit the needs of the advertising market, where fast turnaround and an increasing demand for resolution are the main trends.  With the level of quality and speed achieved you can print any point-of-sale or POP projects which used to be produced with conventional printing systems.

Utilising advanced Variable Dot Size technology, the Meital 302 brings you resolution when needed without compromising on throughput. Indeed, you have the ability to vary the drop size from dots as little as 6 picolitres for sharp images and exceptional details, to medium dots enabling smooth skin tones or to large dots up to 42 picolitres producing great density of colour. The Meital 302 is capable to deliver near-photographic quality prints at real production speeds.

The print heads offer 360dpi (apparent resolution 1,440 dpi) at speeds up to 300sq m/hr. With 4 colours only, the system delivers far superior image quality than a traditional 6 or 8 colours inkjet printer while significantly reducing your cost of inks. As well as ensuring superior image quality the variable drop size technology allows to use the small drops for reproducing light tones, effectively replacing the light-colour inks - thus reducing inks consumption by a third compared to other printers. To increase your overall productivity, the Meital 302 incorporates interchangeable tables allowing the operator to load one table while the second one is being printed. The machine combines the best of both worlds: the precision of a strong vacuum table with the efficiency of a belt system.

The maximum image size of 1.25 x 2.5m (4'x8') provides advanced printing features such as image step-and-repeat and nesting.

New Printing Engine Technology

The core of the Meital 302 printing engine is the innovative XAAR 1001 HSS (hybrid side shooter) print head. Each print-head has 1000 nozzles and is designed for single pass printing at native 360DPI. Its grayscale possibilities and high native resolution guarantee superior quality. As the ink is constantly circulating through the print-head itself, in case of media jam under the carriage there is no need to stop the printer and service it for air intake - there is no need for the old purging & wiping as on other conventional digital printers. The Meital 302 will restore itself to 100% reliability fully before the next print needs to be printed. This is again, a huge time saver and utilizes 100% productivity out of a printer. The operator will not need to stop the printer for maintenance.

Meital 302 gives you the choice of several configurations from basic to advanced, depending on your company's specific capacity requirements. It also offers you the possibility to upgrade your printer as your company grow, allowing you to split your investment into several phases.
