MTL Print, or Meital, was founded by Kobi Markovitch and Moshe Nur, two of the most veteran professionals in the digital printing market. Both Markovitch and Nur were involved in and led the most influential developments in the market, from the first grand-format inkjet printer in the early 1990s to the first roll-to-roll and flat-bed machines to use UV-curable inks.

MTL's research and development team benefits from many years of experience in the digital printing industry, specialising in characterising printing technologies that developed, and manufactured wide-format drop-on-demand based digital printers, in the concern of meeting the market expectations. The same team designed the whole range of NUR Macroprinters' machinery, including the popular Fresco, Tempo, and Expedio. Today, these printers are presented at the front of world-wide sales of HP in its Scitex division.

The MTL team has a clear understanding of the market's needs, as well as the ability of innovation in combination with a great motivation and strong engineering, leading us to the mission of supplying high-quality products in a very cost-effective way.

I believe that the Meital 302 which is the only large-format digital press on the market that has the two-bed substrate delivery system and the only machine that uses the Xaar 1001 hybrid side-shooter print-head which is capable of very fine detail and very solid coverage at a very fast speed.

I could not find any similar advances on any other machines; even the £1,000,000 digital presses in the marketplace were relying on old technology which I was acutely aware could be superseded in a year or two with new models.

I also think the Meital 302 to a certain degree is more "future-proof" than the other machines I looked at, which was an important factor for me. Understanding my customers' needs has made the decision to purchase the Meital 302 over the other digital presses an easy one.
